The Sox have been looking in to getting all sorts of players from anyone in the San Francisco bullpen to MadBum to Syndergaard to Stroman (who we don’t want. I don’t care what Evan Drellich or Buster Olney or Ken Rosenthal day. We don’t want Stroman) to Shane Greene to Zack Grienke to Dom Smith to Jose Abreu.
It’s madness. Dom Smith and Abreu would be dope in the lineup but we DONT NEED THEM. Trading prospects for them would be a colossal waste. The Sox lineup is wildly solid top to bottom. Strengthening first base a little bit wouldn’t help much. We already have 2 first basemen who aren’t playing.
Shane Greene tho. Ohhhhhh boy would I be one hell of a happy camper with Shane Greene in that pen.
