In Response to Cooper’s Unwarranted Jabs at Someone Who Just Wants to Help The Blog Succeed:
What Cooper said in the bottom of his last blog is true. I said I would write about the game and 2.5 hours later I didn’t have a blog published.
But let me explain:
I’m well aware of our readers’ demographic. It’s mainly people we know and very concentrated in our geographic region. That means that in order to get the most views, I like to post blogs when our readers are online. I was also at the game and for some ungodly reason didn’t feel like writing a blog while sad about the Patriots when I got home at 1:30 in the morning. However, it is currently 4:30 AM as I write this unnecessary blog in my defense and putting finishing details on an in-depth, well thought out blog about the Patriots. I’m positive Cooper is asleep because I have been bombarding him with texts throughout the process and I’m sure as a good ‘boss’ he would’ve seen them and apologized if he were awake. I also am aware none of you would have read a blog at 2 AM after that game, and views are how we measure success. Cooper was nice enough to bring me on board here and I want to honor and respect that by optimizing my blogs. I only blog about things I feel I could write substantial, quality pieces about and I time their release so they will get as many eyes as possible. Now that that is out of the way I’ll have a blog up shortly with my thoughts on the team and where they currently stand, just like I told Cooper and the rest of the guys when I said I would write “THE” blog about the game. It will be very different than Cooper’s so rest assured you will not be reading more of the same. I will also be publishing it at a time where a majority of our followers will be “online” or “logged on” as some would call it. It’s called prime time for a reason. I’m sure you, the reader, can understand this not-so-novel concept. However, this blog isn’t for you, average reader, as you have never called for my head on a platter. No, this blog is for Cooper. If we’re being frank, Cooper should thank me for even mentioning the fact he posted a blog about the game, because I’m sure a large portion of our readers missed it because it was published at 2 AM on a Sunday. Big boy coverage coming soon. Molito out.
