R’membeh This…

With the recent parting of ways with Alex Cora, it brings up the question who was the best manager of the 2010s. And that may be tough to figure out. Tito was around the first two years. Farrell wasn’t great but didn’t leave on a bad note. And Cora ultimately led the best Red Sox team in the team’s 108 years. But one thing we can all agree on is that Bobby Valentine sucked.

No one like him. The front office, the fans, the players, the media. Literally no one misses him. Barring Pat Brown, Bobby’s number one fan. But, we all need a reminder that Cora wasn’t a bad guy and Valentine actually was. So, today’s R’membeh This… is something from the forgotten year that was 2012.

There was this time when Dustin told Bobby to pound dirt.

Then that ejection where an ump spit his gum on Bobby. I’d personally would like to try this move out sometime. Just fake a bubble blow and boom. Gum to the face of your adversary.

I mean this dude got ejected at the very least 10 times that season.

Literarlly 9 ejections by mid August. That’s gotta be more impressive than losing the club house of a team that wins the World Series the following year.

To be fair, all of these calls are pretty egregious and I think Bobby V just saw the opportunity for the home crowd to give him some cheers. Only ever time he got them in 2012.
