So, I haven’t been the kindest fan to David Price. That’s pretty well known. But I also would have to say I wasn’t the worst. Price came in and had his ebbs and flows, but at the end of the day the dude pitched his brains out for that 2018 team. I mean, in the words of Kevin Millar, he “Ponied up”. This trade will always be known in Red Sox history as the “Mookie Betts Trade”, that’s what happens when you put a Hall of Famer on a plane for a bag of balls in return, but David Price was a damn good asset for the club.
