So for those of you who don’t know, I’m a pretty big movie buff. Always watching movies, streaming shows, etc. Whether it be Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, ESPN+, or that low-life streaming service Hulu. Hulu has by far the most extensive collection of shows like Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League, SNL, Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, Seinfeld (greatest sit-com of all time), and so on and so forth. Sounds like a pretty nice platform, huh? Wrong.
This is more or less just me airing a grudge, but the playback on Hulu is absolute garbage. The ads are way too long, and after the ads play whatever your watching takes a good 1-2 full minutes to actually start playing again. Want to pause your movie/show to hit the bathroom? Maybe grab a quick snack or a bottle of water? You have my thoughts and prayers because you are going to have to refresh that page and wait a few hours for Hulu to finally resume playing. Just absolute trash. How does a multi-billion dollar streaming service not have the simple capability of just pausing? Like arguably the next most important function behind actually playing the show or movie. It drives me absolutely nuts. Netflix, HBO Max, and even ESPN+ don’t even have problems like this. I bet that pile of shit Tubi had better playback than Hulu does.
For the 3 of you who actually wasted time reading this, I’m sorry. However, maybe you read this and thought “Hey, he’s right. Hulu sucks eggs.”. For those of you that agree, thank you. You have common sense.
